All youth activities and events are for youth in grades 6-12 unless otherwise noted. All youth are welcome and encouraged to bring a friend.

Family Night

Wednesday, Sept. 12, 6-8

Just as in the home, parents are very important and vital to youth ministry. Parents, join your youth for a fun, Christ-centered evening. Parents-V-Youth Volleyball, Snack Supper, and Parent Meeting.

The Big Event

6th Grade Retreat

November 9-11 @ Camp Cho-Yeh, $125

A weeked where worship is designed around our Wesleyan understanding of grace, some program elements are designed to foster Christian leadership & fellowship, others are just to have fun as a 6th grader.

Sunday School- Sundays 10:00- in the Fellowship Hall

UMYF- United Methodist Youth Fellowship- Wednesdays 6:00-8:00 meet in the GYM

Youth Choir- Sunday afternoons

Fellowship and Worship:

Sunday School

Youth meet in the Fellowship Hall for a lesson and time of fellowship.

UMYF (6th-12th grade)

During this time, youth come together for an evening to form friendships and develop their relationship with Christ. We have snack supper, plays games and have a lesson. Our lessons vary and include Bible studies and current topic issues.

Youth Choir:

The JC Singers

Weekly practice occurs at 4:00-5:00 on Sunday afternoons.

The JC Singers sing second Sunday of each month.

Mission and Service:

Adults have the opportunity to participate in all roles for these events.

UM ARMY- Current 8-12th graders.

At UM ARMY, our mission is two-fold; serving people in need, and providing young people an opportunity to mature in their faith-walk and life skills through Christian service.

Youth may build wheelchair ramps, paint, complete yard work or other activities.

Big House- Current 5-8th graders.

BIG HOUSE stands for Believing In God, Helping Others Understand through Service Everywhere.

Youth participate in various service projects, such as painting, yard work, or carpentry.

Lakeview Summer Camp- Current 2nd-12th graders.

A week of fun, fellowship, and worship for students currently in 2nd-12th grades.
