Hurricane Laura Disaster Relief

09.08.20 | Missions & Outreach by John Matkin

Our neighbors in Lake Charles need our help! Just like we were in the direct path of Hurricane Harvey three years ago, the people of Lake Charles, Louisiana were in the direct path of Hurricane Laura last week. Our own recovery was facilitated by generous and faithful persons responding to our needs in the first few days; now, it’s our turn to faithfully respond to the needs of others with our own generosity.

We’ve been told they have immediate needs for diapers and baby formula. Bring your donations to the church this Sunday, September 6, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. We’ll be setting up a donation drop-off point on the east side of the church. Volunteers will be delivering the donated supplies to an authorized distribution center in Lake Charles later this weekend.

Diapers sizes 3-5 are most needed, but ALL sizes are greatly appreciated!

    Let’s make this happen!

    God bless,

    Jack Matkin
