There’s More Than One Way To Grow

Stop by our Fall Plant Sale this weekend - Saturday, 9:00-5:00, and Sunday, 10:00-2:00 - and buy something that grows. We’ll be offering the same quality plants as usual for the home, yard, patio, and garden. The net proceeds from the Plant Sale will go toward youth scholarships for UM Army next summer, M. I. Lewis Social Service Center in Dickinson, and Our Daily Bread, a feeding ministry for homeless persons in Galveston.

This year’s Plant Sale will be extra special. We will be serving as the host for Louisiana’s Dupont Nursery, a leading hibiscus hybridizer. Dupont has chosen our Plant Sale to debut this year’s new hybrid, “Big Papa.” What a great name for a flower debut at a church!

We’ll also have a Book Table out, offering extra books from our Church LIbrary for a donation amount of your choice, or for free. Proceeds from these donations will support our Church Library’s ministry to all ages. We have lots of books that will help YOU grow!

    God bless,
    Jack Matkin
