We Are Family
At Dickinson First United Methodist Church, we are real people with a real purpose, worshiping a real God. Upcoming Events
Join us during Holy Week as we remember the final days of Jesus’ ministry and reflect on His love and sacrifice. Palm Sunday celebrates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and begins the journey toward the cross. On Maundy Thursday, we gather in the Commons for light fare before walking together to the Upper Room (Fellowship Hall) to remember the night Jesus met with His disciples and gave the command to love one another. Good Friday invites us into a solemn Tenebrae service with modern monologues and the Chancel Choir as we reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and prepare our hearts for the hope of Easter.
Join us this Easter Sunday as we celebrate the hope and victory of the resurrection! We’ll gather at 9:00am for a contemporary service and 11:00am for a traditional service, coming together to worship and reflect on the powerful story of the two women who became the first disciples after the resurrection—witnesses to the empty tomb and the good news that changed everything. Come experience the joy, renewal, and life that Easter brings—we’d love to celebrate with you!

God’s Portion - Our Covenant Promise
The portion of our income given to God regularly, fulfilling the covenantal commitment made to God when joining the church. Also known as tithe, pledge, firstfruits, and sacrificial giving.
Above and Beyond and After Giving
Any contribution above and beyond and after God’s Portion. Support a ministry area where you sense a calling to give extra or remember/honor a loved one. Also known as second mile and designated giving.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10)
