Shining God's Light Through The Arts
Shining Light Productions is a performing arts branch of Dickinson First United Methodist Church that provides artistic opportunities for all ages and surrounding communities to share in God’s light. They utilize the powerful mediums of theater, music, art, and dance, to narrate stories of hope. Through these artistic expressions, Shining Light Productions sparks and inspires participants and audiences alike to bring a positive influence within their communities.
Types of Giving
God’s Portion - Our Covenant Promise
The portion of our income given to God regularly, fulfilling the covenantal commitment made to God when joining the church. Also known as tithe, pledge, firstfruits, and sacrificial giving.
Above and Beyond and After Giving
Any contribution above and beyond and after God’s Portion. Support a ministry area where you sense a calling to give extra or remember/honor a loved one. Also known as second mile and designated giving.
